2019 mission trips Now FULL!
Student Ministry missions
Mission Trips are an incredibly formative experience for our students. Each trip will challenge and encourage students toward greater love for Christ, His church, and the lost. Please check out the trips below for more information.
Pawley’s Island, South Carolina
July 14th-20th, 2019
The island off the coast of South Carolina is something special. Our base camp is located 5 minutes from the water’s edge. Yet in the middle of this vacation paradise is a broken community. For many years, racial division has been ignored as the community has enjoyed a growing and expanding Economy. As Pawley’s continues to grow and expand, so does the division between the white and African-American communities. During the day, your students will have the chance to work in the African-American community to minister to at-risk kids and vulnerable families through work projects and an evangelistic Bible school.
July 28-August 3
The natural beauty of Costa Rica attracts many visitors who never realize the overwhelming needs of the children of this emerging nation. Lacking a national foster care system, orphaned children often have nowhere to go. Our team will partner with an organization whose goal is to solve the orphan crisis in Costa Rica through partnership with local churches. Our team will work with a local church to perform work projects to strengthen the church's ministry and host a Bible club for children. Please pray for our students’ spiritual growth and gospel-impact in this community!
Navajo Nation, Arizona
High School/Middle School
July 21st-27th, 2019
The Navajo Nation is the world’s largest Native American reservation. With territory in three states, its total land mass is larger than the state of West Virginia. Our site is near Houck, AZ, about 40 miles west of Gallup, NM. With a population of 210,000, the opportunities for ministry here are countless. We will partner with a local Navajo church to put on an evangelistic Vacation Bible School for the community. We will also complete physical work projects to improve the facilities of the local church and strengthen their future ministry. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage in cross-cultural missions within our own nation!
Dates: July 13-20, 2019
We will be running a day camp for teens with an evangelistic focus. It will function a lot like a VBS. We will hold our own bible studies in the late afternoon, evenings, and participate in some of the regular church activities there, including their Sunday morning and evening services.
